Alert cooldown

Alert cooldown controls how often Blind Spot will remind you about an ongoing incident for the same monitor. If an incident stays unresolved, reminders won’t fire more frequently than your chosen cooldown.

Timezone

Timezone is used for:

• Displaying timestamps in the app and notifications
• Scheduling quiet hours accurately

Quiet hours (Pro)

Quiet hours suppress non-critical alerts during the hours and days you choose. Critical alerts still get through.

   Enable quiet hours

   Go to Settings → Quiet Hours and turn it on.

   Choose a time range and days

   Pick your start/end times and select active days.

Escalation (Pro)

Escalation helps ensure urgent incidents aren’t missed. If an incident stays unacknowledged past your selected delay, Blind Spot sends a one-time CRITICAL escalation alert.

   Enable escalation

   Go to Settings → Alert Preferences and enable Escalation.

   Route CRITICAL appropriately

   In Monitors, route CRITICAL alerts to your fastest channels (SMS or a dedicated Slack channel).

Revenue impact (optional)

Add your store inputs (AOV, daily traffic, conversion rate) to include estimated impact in alerts. This helps you prioritize issues based on potential revenue loss.

Diagnostics (optional)

You can disable diagnostics in Settings if you prefer. Diagnostics help improve reliability by reporting aggregated usage and error information.

Plan changes

• If you downgrade from Pro to Free, Monitor keeps your monitors, but only up to 5 can be active on the Free plan. Any additional monitors become locked (they won’t run checks or send alerts) until you upgrade.
• To choose which 5 stay active, go to Monitors → Manage active monitors.
• Pro-only monitors (like Checkout Flow) remain locked on Free. If you still want basic checkout coverage on Free, create an HTTP monitor for your checkout URL (for example, /checkout).
• If you upgrade back to Pro, locked monitors become active again (up to plan limits) and your faster check intervals are restored automatically.
